Kitty Bungalow hosted a purrthday lovefest for everyone’s favorite permakitten.

Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats is California’s only 100% feral cat rescue and socialization facility. We think they are totally pawsome. No wonder Bub chose them to throw her Purrthday Pawty in downtown LA at the Corey Helford Gallery.

As part of the festivities, Bub’s dude, Mike, showed a video of how this little special needs cat has pawsitively impacted his life – it’s Bub’s alien space magic that led him to his wife and family. Bub showed her love and appurreciation for Mike by grooming his hand throughout the purrsentation. A highlight of the reel was when Bub met her plush doppleganger for the furst time and flew into a rage, smacking it repeatedly. Hissterical.

JACKSON GALAXY

Jackson spoke about his new Cat Pawsitive purrogram which is being implemented in shelters across the country. By teaching scared shelter cats to “high-five” fur treats through clicker training, cats learn to trust Humans, which makes them more adoptable, fur sure. This a purrogram Bub and all cat lovers should get behind.

THE KITTEN LADY

Kitten rescuer, educator, author and unwavering animal advo-cat Hannah Shaw answered audience questions in a panel that was moderated by Bub herself, who communicated in her adorable Bub-sounds which Mike interpurrated via keyboard.

THE TRAP KING and THE CAT MAN OF WEST OAKLAND

Sterling Davis and Adam Myatt talked TNR (trap-neuter-return) for community cats and showed how it’s propurrly done. (Connie, a repurrsentative of Milo’s Sanctuary & Special Needs Cat Rescue was there because of her purrfound love for Bub.)

BLASKO

He may be known as Ozzy Osbourne’s bass guitarist, but we know him as a that cool cat guy who’s always trying to help raise money and awareness fur homeless cats.

CATS!

Adoptable cats and kittens were on hand (paw) to do their own meet-and-greets with purrtential adopters. They were shown inside the venue and also in the mobile Moon Cat Cafe.
