This year we lost many beloved Internet feline stars. If only cats really did have 9 lives…

Gone But Not Furgotten.

Oskar the Blind Cat. A special needs advo-cat and noted felinethrophist, Oskar opened the eyes of many, showing them the value and worth of those with disabilities. He is survived by his brother, Klaus.

The Cow Cat. Scotch was a spokeskitty for Cute4Kind, a charity designed to create awareness for shelter and street cats. We were udderly devastated when this sweet cow-spotted boy succumbed to heart failure.

Conrad the Cat. This floofy boy with a bold white blaze was once known as the most famous cat in Wales, amassing social media followers and furiends from around the world. Sadly, Conrad was struck by a car earlier this year, but he still resides in our hearts.

Keyboard Cat. When the original Keyboard Cat passed, Bento took over the role of this Internet sensation and YouTube star. If there were a Cat Walk of Fame, we’re pawsitive Keyboard Cat would have a star.

Eddie the Lilac Lion. Eddie was a Siamese cat rescued off the streets. He had no ears, no teeth, crossed eyes and a legendary purrsonality. He may have been the misfit king, but we thought he was purrfect.

Tony the Hero Fire Cat. Tony saved his Meowmy and his sister Ripley the portly corgi from certain death by alerting them that their home was on fire. He suffered severe burns but his spirit was strong – he lived fur many more years until succumbing to vestibular disease.

Blacky the Wheelchair Cat. Blacky proved that nothing is impawsible. The one-eyed cat survived being hit by a car and went on to become an advo-cat for the less furtunate, raising thousands of dollars for people and pets in need.

Loki the Sphynx. With his wrinkled bod and scowling visage, Loki never failed to amewse. The silly Sphynx who knew how to rock a sweater died of heart failure while undergoing a routine dental cleaning.

Jelly Belly Jack. This big boy who loved to sploot was an inspurration to those battling weight gain, having dropped an impurressive 8 lbs. on a carefully monitored diet. Sadly, Jack died of kidney cancer, leaving a plus-sized hole in our hearts.

Kitty Sunshine. She went from loving pet to purrfessional cat nurse when her Meowmy was diagnosed with cancer. Her healing techniques included lying on her Humom’s legs, purring continuously and purrviding lots of kitty love. Sadly, Kitty Sunshine developed lymphoma and, knowing her work was done, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

Oliver Taco. Wearer of bow ties. Tongue blepper extraordinaire. Soulmate to his Meowmy, whom he walked down the aisle on her wedding day. Taco may have lost his battle with feline lymphoma, but his legacy lives on.

Sad Cat. The beautiful Belochka (which is Russian for “squirrel”) made us smile with her su-purr sad eyes. But it was our eyes that welled with tears when she unexpectedly passed of heart disease earlier this year.

Tayto. This little girl with dwarfism made a big impurression on her fans and followers. Although she struggled with health issues, Tayto had a strong, resilient spirit. She will furever be remembered as a sassy permakitten who loved to eat, play… and eat some meowr.

Meeseeks. When Meeseeks was found in a cardboard box in the rain with his feline family, he was litter-ally small enough to fit in the palm of a hand.  He may have lost his battle with FGESF, but we’ll furever remember this feisty fighter.

Bailey. He was truly no ordinary cat, best known fur how much he adored his 3 human siblings. Having battled kidney disease, Bailey died in his Humom’s arms at the age of 14.

RIP beloved furbabies, you will remain furever in our hearts.
